Teak

Patioworld carries only the finest hand-selected grade of teak. Our teak is kiln-dried which ensures the stability of the finished furniture in the harshest of climatic conditions. Teak is a dense, close-grained hardwood with a high natural oil content. Teak is exceptionally hard wearing, highly resistant to rotting and is almost impervious to the effects of sun, rain, frost or snow.

Care

If left to age naturally, simply leave outside exposed to light, air and rain. The surface of the teak will gradually change to a soft, silver-gray. To clean, use a “Teak Cleaner”. If the original golden-brown color is what you prefer, we suggest using a “Teak Sealer”. This sealer will maintain the original finish but must be regularly re-applied to provide continuous protection and retain the original color.
